This notice is provided at or near the point CTE first collects personal information about you as a prospective or active candidate. It supplements, and should be read together with, our general Privacy Policy.
1. Why You're Receiving This Notice
Creative Talent Endeavors LLC (“CTE,” “we,” “us”) has identified you as a potential candidate for a retained executive search engagement, or you have engaged with us directly as a candidate. This notice explains what personal information we collect about you as part of that process, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
2. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
CTE, headquartered at 15105-D John J Delaney Dr., Ste. 249, Charlotte, NC 28277, is responsible for the collection and use of your information described in this notice, except where we are processing your information on behalf of a specific client under that client's instructions — in which case the client is the controller and CTE acts as its service provider.
3. What We Collect About You
In connection with evaluating you for a search engagement, we may collect:
- Your contact information (name, email, phone, location)
- Your professional background (current and past employers, titles, dates of employment, compensation history, education, certifications)
- Your resume, CV, or LinkedIn profile
- Notes from our conversations with you and our internal assessment of your fit for a role
- Where a search progresses, and with your knowledge, reference and background check information
4. Where This Information Comes From
We collect this information directly from you; from your publicly available professional profiles (such as LinkedIn); from referrals by colleagues, former employers, or other candidates; from our client, where the client has independently identified you; and from our internal candidate database, which may retain information from prior searches.
5. Why We Process Your Information
We process your information to evaluate your fit for a specific search engagement; to present you as a candidate to our client for that engagement, with your knowledge; to communicate with you about the search process; and, unless you tell us otherwise, to consider you for future search engagements that may match your background.
6. Who We Share It With
- The client engaged in the specific search for which you are being considered
- CTE personnel and contracted search partners, who are bound by confidentiality obligations
- Background or reference check providers, only once a search has progressed to that stage and typically with your knowledge
- Our applicant tracking and CRM service providers, who process your information on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain candidate information in our database for as long as reasonably necessary to consider you for current and future search engagements, even after a specific search has closed, unless you ask us to delete your record. If you were presented as a candidate to a client, we may retain records relating to that presentation as part of our confidential business records regardless of whether the client relationship later ends.
8. Your Choices
You can ask us at any time to: tell you what information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information from our database; or stop considering you for future opportunities without deleting your history entirely. 9. International Transfers
If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States in connection with a search engagement. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect information transferred from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
