Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 23, 2026

Supersedes the version previously published at hirecte.com/privacy-policy (effective May 4, 2020) and any version served through app.termly.io.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Creative Talent Endeavors LLC (“CTE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website (hirecte.com), our retained executive search and talent advisory services, and our other business communications. This Policy applies to visitors to our website, prospective and current clients, and candidates who are contacted, sourced, or evaluated in connection with a search engagement. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to, which maintain their own privacy practices.

If you are a candidate being considered for a specific search engagement, please also see our Candidate Privacy Notice, which describes in more detail how we handle your information during the search process.

2. Who We Are

Creative Talent Endeavors LLC is a retained executive search firm headquartered at 15105-D John J Delaney Dr., Ste. 249, Charlotte, NC 28277. For purposes of applicable data protection law, CTE acts as a data controller with respect to the personal information described in Section 3 below, except where we act as a processor on behalf of a client under a separate Data Processing Addendum.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

a) Information you provide to us directly.

This includes your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, company, and title, and any other information you submit through our website's contact forms, our Fairantee™ compensation calculator, by email, or in the course of a business relationship with us.

b) Information we collect automatically.

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies, including Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools built into our website platform, for this purpose. Our website also uses a LinkedIn advertising conversion tag, which may allow LinkedIn to associate your visit with your LinkedIn account for advertising measurement purposes, subject to LinkedIn's own privacy practices.

c) Information we collect in connection with search and advisory engagements.

If you are a candidate identified, sourced, or evaluated in connection with a retained search, we collect professional information about you, which may include your employment history, education, professional credentials, compensation history, resume or CV, LinkedIn profile and other publicly available professional information, interview notes and evaluations prepared by our team, and reference or background information obtained with your knowledge in the course of a search. We collect this information directly from you, from your public professional profiles, from our clients, from professional networking and sourcing platforms, and from our internal candidate database.

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as race, gender, age, health, or similar demographic data) as a matter of course, and we do not ask candidates or clients to provide this information to us.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to: operate and improve our website; respond to inquiries and provide requested information, including compensation benchmarking through our Fairantee™ tool; identify, evaluate, and present candidates to clients in connection with retained search engagements; communicate with clients and candidates about specific engagements; send business development and relationship communications, which you may opt out of at any time; maintain our candidate and client relationship records for future engagements; and comply with our legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We share personal information with:

  • Clients. When you are a candidate under active consideration for a specific search, we share your professional information with the client engaging us for that search, as necessary to perform our services.
  • Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate our business, including our applicant tracking and CRM systems, website and marketing platform, outreach and sequencing tools, and productivity/email infrastructure. These vendors process personal information on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
  • Professional advisors. We may share information with our legal, accounting, and insurance advisors as necessary to operate our business.
  • As required by law. We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months. Our use of advertising cookies described in Section 3(b) may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws; see Section 10 for how to opt out.

6. Data Retention

We retain candidate information in our candidate database for as long as reasonably necessary to consider you for current and future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete it or we are required to retain it for legal, contractual, or recordkeeping purposes. We retain client and business contact information for the duration of our business relationship and as required by our document retention practices thereafter.

7. International Data Transfers

Because our search engagements are national and at times international in scope, personal information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information originating in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, as reflected in our client Data Processing Addenda.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: know what personal information we have collected about you; request access to or a copy of that information; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; and opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 12.
